ABOUT LISA BENEDETTO
Lisa Benedetto is a Canadian Screen Award nominated television and film producer best known for her work as Executive Producer on the International Emmy nominated comedy series, Workin' Moms (CBC/Netflix). Lisa specializes in creating strong comedic stories and working with top-tier talent, currently developing several original series ideas under her own production company, Dr. Bruno Productions, as well as consulting on a handful of other projects. Before joining the Wolf + Rabbit Entertainment team in 2017, Lisa gained experience in other genres and formats, such as drama, lifestyle and documentary, working as associate producer, producer assistant, and researcher for various projects, including American Gods (Starz) and Intervention (A&E). In addition to this, Lisa has produced seven short films.
With a background as a performer herself, Lisa studied theatre, improv, and stand up comedy after finishing her BFA from Concordia University with a double major in Film Studies & English Literature. Her mission as a producer is to create engaging, authentic, and inclusive content that reflects the realities and challenges of modern life and is always looking for new opportunities to learn, grow, and collaborate in the dynamic and evolving media landscape.
